Nancy and Kip Robinson


The Rev. Nancy Robinson is a missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries serving as continuing education coordinator for the Sierra Leone Annual Conference in West Africa. She is based in Freetown, and was commissioned in June 2013. She is the daughter of Methodist missionaries and was born and lived in Zimbabwe (then Southern Rhodesia) until age 15, when political tensions resulted in the family’s deportation.

Kip is a native of Virginia and a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church in Richmond, a part of the Virginia Annual Conference. He is a civil engineer with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Virginia Tech (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University), Blacksburg, Virginia. He worked in the field of engineering for many years, primarily in the nuclear division of Dominion Virginia Power.
